On February 28, our community came together for the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) walk in Ajax in support of neighbours who are hurt, hungry, and experiencing homelessness.
The event was a powerful demonstration of compassion in action, bringing together individuals, families, local organizations, and community leaders to raise both awareness and critical funds for local homelessness and housing support services.
This year’s impact in Ajax:
- 158 walkers
- 48 volunteers
- 519 donors
- $33,740 raised
Every step taken helped shine a light on the realities faced by people experiencing homelessness in our community, while strengthening the network of support that makes housing stability possible.
We were especially grateful to be joined by community leaders including Ajax’s MP, Jennifer McKelvie and Deputy Mayor, Sterling Lee, who walked alongside participants in a shared commitment to building a more compassionate and inclusive community.
Thank you
To every walker, donor, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter—thank you. Your generosity and presence helped turn cold night air into warmth, connection, and meaningful impact.
